Trulicity 1.5mg Pre-Filled Pen is an injectable medicine used to lower blood glucose levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. It works by helping your body produce insulin and reducing the amount of sugar your liver makes.

The dose of Trulicity 1.5mg Pre-Filled Pen will depend on your condition and what other diabetes medicines you are taking. You can use it at any time of day with or without food but try to use it on the same day each week to get the most benefit. Your doctor or nurse will show you how and where to inject the medicine. Follow the instructions carefully. Do not stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor. If you do, your blood glucose levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications. It should be used with a proper diet and exercise to control high blood glucose. This medicine should be stored in a fridge until you need it but do not freeze it.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. It can also lead to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level) especially if you are taking other medicines to lower blood sugar. Make sure you know how to recognize and deal with it. If you experience blurred vision, dizziness, or drowsiness due to extremely low or high blood sugar, do not drive, use machinery or do any activity that requires alertness or clear vision until you are sure you can do them safely.

Before using this medicine, talk to your doctor if you have ever had liver or kidney disease, pancreatitis, or stomach problems. Also, tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines which may affect the way this medicine works. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor if it is safe to take.

Novomix 30 100IU/ml Penfill is a combination of two medicines used to improve blood sugar control in people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is a fast-acting type of insulin that helps to lower blood sugar levels after meals and reduce the chances of developing serious complications of diabetes.

Novomix 30 100IU/ml Penfill is normally prescribed along with a long-acting type of insulin or other diabetes medicines. Your doctor or nurse will teach you the correct way of injecting it under the skin. It should be taken 15 minutes before a meal or within 20 minutes after starting a meal. Check your blood sugar levels regularly, keep track of your results and share them with your doctor. This is very important to work out the correct dose of the medicine for you.

Do not use this medicine when you have low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). Tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney, liver, or heart problems before starting treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor as the dose may need to be changed. Do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to. It is only part of a treatment program that should also include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.

The most common side effect of this medicine is low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). To prevent this, it's important to always inject the correct dose of medicine only, have regular meals, and monitor your blood sugar levels regularly. Drinking excessive alcohol can also lead to a fall in your blood sugar levels. Other side effects include allergy at the injection site like redness, swelling, or hard lumps (lipodystrophy). Some people gain weight while taking insulin. Some people may also notice itching and rash while taking it.

Do not use this medicine when you have low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). Tell your doctor if you have ever had kidney, liver or heart problems before starting treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor as the dose may need to be changed.
